Korean Validation of Perceived Empathy of Technology Scale (PETS)
Korean validation of the PETS scale in collaboration with LMU Munich. Large-scale study (N=400) via Embrain.
Collaborated with LMU Munich researchers to validate the Korean version of the PETS scale.
PETS is a 10-item scale that measures how empathic users perceive a system to be. The Korean version was developed through forward and back-translation and expert review, then validated with 400 participants (200 Korean, 200 English-speaking) as a valid and reliable measure.
Prepared survey materials and video stimuli for the study via Embrain.
My Role
Obtained translation permission from the original authors and supported the translation setup, including preparing study materials and reviewing literature on the cross-cultural adaptation and validation of foreign survey instruments.
